CHUM Center
The CHUM Center is a day shelter offering a safe, chemical-free environment to more than 100 homeless and low-income people per day. Many live with chemical dependency or mental health issues. The Center is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.center lunch
The CHUM Center provides shower and laundry facilities, internet access, local phone use and message service, storage lockers, free coffee and snacks, meals (hot lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays, breakfasts on Wednesdays and community meals on days when other local hot meal programs are closed), a community room for visiting or quiet relaxation, and recreational opportunities.
