Sheltering Animals & Families Together (SAF-T)® is a global initiative helping domestic violence shelters to create on-site pet housing for families fleeing violence. Since most veterinary professionals have pets and want to protect them, if a vet pro who is also a victim of DV needs a safe space, they may be able to find a place for them and their pets to go.
